Privacy and Security

Our policy has always been to respect the privacy of our customers and to ensure total security and confidentiality of all personal information. We have been long-standing members of the better business bureau.

Payment Options

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

All credit card charges will appear as gayleswigsnthings.com or as Gayle's Wigs 'N' Things. Credit cards are charged upon order placement. If we are unable to fulfill our obligation to ship any order, we will refund the amount charged to the original credit card. Although we do not accept personal checks, we do accept cashier's checks and money orders.

Backorders

If a backorder occurs on your item(s), you will be placed on a priority waitlist. We will promptly ship item(s) upon arrival. We will inform and update you by email with the estimated arrival date. If backordered item(s) are not received in a reasonable length of time, please contact us at 757-622-8328 or by email.

Cancellation Fees

For any shipments returned to us due to a bad address, refusal upon delivery, or cancellation after 24 hours from the time the order was placed, a 20% cancellation fee will be charged. Shipping and handling are also non-refundable.

Shipping Information

There will be a $10 flat rate shipping charge added to all orders, which covers shipping and handling. For your protection, the company reserves the right to send orders to the billing addresss if a different shipping address cannot be verified.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 24 hours of order placement. Customers should expect to receive their orders within 7 to 14 business days after order processing.

Online Ordering

We use a secure server for your privacy and security. Online payment using the credit cards mentioned above can be made at check-out. You will be asked to provide the following information:

  • Your Name (as it appears on the credit card)
  • Your Billing Address (to verify authorization)
  • Your Phone Number (in case we need to contact you during business hours)
  • Your Email Address (where you receive confirmations and tracking information)
  • Your Credit Card Type, Number, and Expiration Date
  • Your CSV number (last 3 digits on the back of the credit card)
  • Your Shipping Address

Return Policy

There are no returns accepted due to manufacturers’ policies. Unauthorized returns will incur a 50% unauthorized return fee.

We will accommodate one exchange per item(s). If you wish to exchange your item(s), please follow our exchange policy below.

There is NO return or exchange on human hair.

Exchange Policy

Unauthorized and ineligible exchanges will incur a 50% unauthorized product return fee. To avoid this fee, please follow these exchange guidelines:

  • Product Eligibility - We allow one exchange per item. These items must be in original and perfect factory condition (unaltered, unworn, undamaged, with original tags inside undamaged packaging). If products have been worn, damaged, or tags/packaging have been tampered with, products will be deemed unauthorized for exchange.
  • Exchange Fees - A 20% exchange fee will be applied to all exchanged merchandise eligible and authorized by us for exchange.

Charges returned to complete exchanges are made on the credit card submitted in the original order. Balances are issued as store credits, and can be used at any time.

Shipping Costs On Exchanges

Shipping charges will be applied to the exchange. As with any order, shipping is done via the U.S. Postal Service for a standard fee of $10 anywhere in the U.S.A.

How To Request An Exchange

Requests for an exchange must be made within 5 days of receipt of product(s). Exchanges must be preauthorized by gayleswigsnthings.com with an exchange merchandise authorization number (EMA). Without an EMA, the item(s) will incur a 50% unauthorized product fee.

For your exchange to go smoothly, please do the following only after you are sure your item(s) is eligible for exchange:

1)      Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to request your EMA number. You will receive an email response with your EMA number and instructions on how to exchange and return the product. Please allow up to 3 business days for response.

2)      If the order was placed by phone or mail and there is no access to email, please call us during business hours at 757-622-8328.

3)      Exchange item(s) must be returned to the following address within 10 days from receipt of the EMA number:

Once we receive your exchange package, please allow up to 10 business days for the exchange process to be completed.

How To Prepare Your Exchange Package

1)      The EMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the shipping box. Packages with no visible EMA number will be refused.

2)      Ship item(s) in a sturdy cardboard box, as damaged items are ineligible for exchange.

3)      Please send the package to our store address.

Store Credits

Balances resulting from exchanges are issued as store credits only. A store credit is valid for purchase of any product(s) on our website or in our retail store. We do not issue any cash, check, or credit card refunds. To redeem store credit, email us anytime or call during business hours. We will request your name, date, credit ID number, and the amount of the credit. After verifying your information, we will then apply the credit to your purchase.
